On April 12, 2018, the Urbandale Wind Symphony collaborated on a concert with the Johnston High School Wind Symphony.

Joined by guest conductor and teacher, Dr. Rebecca Phillips of Colorado State University, both ensembles performed separately preceding a grand finale set by the combined forces of both bands.
